People Are Sharing The Hilarious Ways They Repurpose Greeting Cards From Past Holidays

We don't know about you, but we'd much rather get one of these.

When it comes to reducing waste, repurposing things, and saving money, sometimes we have to get a little creative. And when it comes to our leftover greeting cards from past holidays, that creativity can be especially handy. After all, who wants to throw away a card that cost $17? Nobody, that's who.

But even if you're on the lower end of the greeting card price spectrum, why go out and buy a new card when you've got a perfectly good one for the wrong holiday at home?

This was the thought process comedian Joe Heenan had, who took to Twitter on Tuesday to share a few of his repurposed cards. "Top tip. Don't throw away your old Christmas cards. They can be reused throughout the year," he wrote

For example, he transformed a "Silent Night" card into a perfect baby shower card by making it say, "You won't get a lot of Silent Nights after your new baby arrives!" He also turned a card with The Three Kings on it to congratulate someone on passing their driver's test.

The humorous tweet has been shared nearly 15,000 times and has more than 42,000 retweets. Many people shared their own hilariously repurposed cards.

We don't know about you, but we'd much rather get one of these. Isn't the best part of a card the things the person wrote themselves anyway?
